On a mountain bike ride outside of Yuma, Arizona I suddenly rolled up on a frightening child, wild matted hair, pale skin, tattered and stained jean overalls with one requisite shoulder strap dangling. Truly a ten year old straight out of deliverance. His presence alone would have caused alarm to any sane person. It was the fact that he was chopping, with steady zombie-like strength at some object on a rotted wood bench. While I will never know, the focus of his robotic slashing appeared to be a crow carcass. I'm glad you made it out of Sedona alive. Fear the vortex (and astrologers). Creepy kids are terrifying.
